Didn't the Cowboys finish building a new stadium in the last couple of years that holds like 150,000 or some crazy figure like that? I think they use it for a lot of major events though, not just football. Personally I can't believe that many people would ever want to go to a Dallas game, but...
"Several SEC ADs noted that nine conference games would actually hurt television inventory. That's because the SEC would lose seven nonconference home games controlled by SEC TV partners, creating less inventory for the broadcasters. That includes the ESPN-owned SEC Network, which will air three...
Wouldn't it be such sweet karma for the Vols to beat Bama next season! Even sweeter if we won by forcing turnovers on kitten's offense... Just more motivation to win...
Go Vols!
I respectfully disagree, rcvol. I certainly understand your jaded pessimism considering what we have been through since CPF's ouster. Lord knows I often find my own mindset in similar territory thanks in large part to the horrendous string of bad luck, bad decisions and heart break that has...
There is so much pent up excitement for the Vols in this fanbase right now. Once this team is back to competing for SEC championships again, the out pouring from the fans is going to be something quite inspiring to behold IMO. I believe it was Helm that recently referred to Tennessee as a...
If this response is serious, I totally disagree. We don't know the details and obviously the media reports could be completely erroneous, but this case was ongoing for many months before it was made public. Based on what the accuser's attorney has said though it sounds like the cop tried to...
I understand your logic, but in my mind the last two weeks have been more about this team losing their intensity and focus on the road against highly ranked opponents. They just aren't ready to take on a talented team and a SEC road crowd yet.
It seems like the players feed off of the energy...
I actually prefer this approach. Lessens the sting of humiliating defeat a bit by reminding us all how much better the future will be. It also dilutes some of the negativity swirling around the boards for a few hours, which is always a nice reprieve while it lasts.
Exactly why I stay quiet around here... Love the Vols, but the message boards have become difficult to stomach over the last couple years.
Seems pretty obvious that there is a direct correlation between on field disappointment and the quality of message board posts, but CBJ appears to be...
Someone on 247 posted that Coleman was hurt and had to be helped off the field, but according to the post it happened at practice yesterday not today. Info was secondhand to the poster, so TIFWIW. I hope this isn't the case, but with our luck....
Lots of fan frustration in here still spilling over from Saturday's loss I see. I am pretty sure that we are all united as a fan base in our frustrations at this point. We are all sick and tired of seeing our beloved program get blown out like an FCS team. I never expected us to beat Oregon, but...
NOTHING has been proven thus far and those of you demanding Couch be kicked off the team need to chill! For the time being Couch is still a Vol and deserves our support until someone proves otherwise. At the very least, you would think that our own fanbase would give one of our own players the...
