I agree. I went from skeptical to, oh my, that guy can play the game at the end of the season. Even with the injury he was good. Heard was a RT playing LT. It just did not make sense to meet his position and money demands when we already had a guy who can play RT well anyway.
So much truth in that post. Some of the wealthiest people I met in my career were dumb as fenceposts. Having a lot of money does not necessarily equal intelligence and common sense.
Inconvenient truth. Some of it was roster decisions that he had input into, but not control of. A lot of it was the performance of his crappy coaching staff of buddies. There was zero reason to believe it was going to get better and time for both parties to move on. Vrabel moved on better than Amy.
I wish some of you D-line experts would edumacate us ignorants on a Jim Knowles D-line versus what Banks trotted out there last season. I need to know what to expect from who we do have on the roster for next season. I'll hang up and listen.
That's where I am with it. Not optimistic yet, but not depressed about it. It could go very well with the right staff hires. Most have learned valuable lessons after not succeeding in their first try. He would be far more likely to succeed than most. Some learn they are not cut out for it like...
Been in the works for a couple of weeks per some Indy booster friends of ours. Cignetti held him out of the Oregon game in mop up duty because of it. Gave the snaps to the other back up.
