I still can't wrap my mind around coming into the first game of the season and not being completely amped up and ready to get after it especially after investing so much time in the offseason to come out like that.

Well I don't really agree we fired him early. We were definitely trending downwards minus the years we had cutcliffe in 2006 and 2007 which is they only reason we were as good as we were. Once he left we reverted back immediately to a clueless offense.

But my problem is who did we fire early? Kiffin bailed on us after a year, Dooley got 3 years which I think everyone could see that he was not the answer and got hired because we were in a desperate situation after Kiffin bailed on us in January, and we gave Jones 5 years. I repeat 5 years.
