There are other relevant details in there that wouldn't necessarily affect "normal" schools, in that Ivy League schools apparently don't offer traditional athletic scholarships....

You probably saw it on this fine forum. There was a post a few days ago implying Milton was starting, but the supposition was based on the depth chart that had just been released, which was basically the same depth chart as the previous 2 weeks, which basically = meaningless
5 vs 22, much easier to put together 5 competent BB players to compete than it is 22 competent FB players where a mistake by just 1 blows up a play or gives up a score.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think the physical shape of the coach has any bearing on his ability to coach the game of football. However, we ARE dealing with young men and I do think some level of personal physical conditioning is part of setting the desired example for your team.
This is such a short-minded take on how all this went down, IMHO. "We" didn't tar and feather our own HC!! Our own HC either knowingly participated in pay-to-play schemes or was so obtuse that it happened around him and he didn't see it. Either case is a damning indictment of his leadership...
