AM I the only one who is heartened by tonight?

I'm not heartened, exactly, because the end of the game/overtime was a debacle. I do agree that the offensive line looked better this week and we've got some genuinely good running backs and receivers. I also agree that QB is the biggest offensive question mark. There are some signs this could...

    The Positive

We ran the ball well at times tonight. If the coaches can get a clear starting five in place, hopefully the offensive line will continue to gel and improve. We have real talent at RB and WR. If we can get better QB play (a huge if), we might be a decent offensive football team . . . at some...

    Thanks you Fulmer...

I realize it hasn't worked out (at least so far), but in principle I still don't really mind the Pruitt hire. Hiring a defensive coordinator from a successful program isn't the worst idea in the world.

    Pitiful loss...

I think we have some genuine talent at running back and wide receiver. I think the offensive line can eventually be okay when guys get more experience and there's a clear starting five in place. I think we need to make a change at QB. I don't even know about the defense, man. At times, they...

    What’d we do between 1967 and 1998?

We need the right coach and some good recruiting classes. LSU was mostly mediocre (and occasionally terrible) throughout the 90's and then they hired Nick Saban.

Seriously false rumor alert just in. Skip Holtz

I would support the hiring of Lombardi. Sure, he's been away from the game for a few years, but he's tanned, rested, and ready. Better dead than any man alive.

I feel indifferent, and that is a bad thing.

In all seriousness, at this point, I just want us to beat Kentucky. That is the last really good win streak we have left.

    We suck (Merged)

wow . . . we're just not very good. It might be a long year.

    Vindication

The camera shots of the opposing offensive coordinators were a bit depressing. Norm Chow looked like a calm and cunning veteran of the game. Clawson looks like he’s 12 years old. I’m not signing off on Clawson after one game. I just wish we had lured Chow away from the Titans...

Honestly who had any idea that Crompton would play this bad?

What's funny is that we all endured two years of "why is Ainge starting?, Crompton is so much better!" Well, careful what you wish for I guess. I know it's only his second start and he will improve, but it was not an auspicious start. To be fair, Ainge certainly played some bad games too...

Confirmed -- Vols dressed in orange pants

God, I hate the orange pants.

    I Blame the Orange Pants

Ok, hear me out. Maybe the bright lights of the George Dome reflected off all those orange uniforms, causing Ainge to suffer from a rare condition known as "dreamsickle blindness," in which the sufferer can no longer distinguish between orange and yellow. Either that, or Ainge simply screwed...

I knew it was over when...

When Arkansas dropped all pretense and just started hiking the ball directly to McFadden.
