ILBs having to be involved in the pass rush due to lack of push from Dline and outside backers seem to be opening up the middle. With only one backer in coverage, man coverage appears to be suffering as well...

Does anyone else find it strange that a player, who has been given the privilege of playing time, has to "buy into" anything at all?

Bad attitude/lack of effort...consider If a non-starter is guilty, no real loss to the team, just to himself... If a starter/contributing member is guilty, first of all why the hell...you are playing?! This hurts the team as a whole and should affect the individual IF he is held accountable...

Unfortunately he keeps playing them.

Recruiting is more comprehensive than just track/flag football numbers. Too little emphasis on leadership, accountability, being a good teammate (to go along with the required skill and metrics). Sadly, many of the attitude issues are with guys that are actually playing and getting their chances.

If it is an effort issue, should we ask the players nicely if they would please give better effort, OR, just a thought here, freaking let someone else play that actually gives a crap and will bust their tails because it means something to them?

Thanks, guess I was looking to see if the full count of 110 would always be maintained. Sounds like of the 85 scholarship players, if 20 were injured and couldn't finish camp, then the team would simply only have 90 players finish camp. Of the walk ons, if 5 became injured and could not finish...

Does anyone know if the team is locked in with 110 specific players for fall camp, or if players may be moved in and out of the group based on injury? I am referring to the NCAA limit of 110 players in fall camp.
