Hes a fine QB, dont get me wrong, but his stats this year are comparable to Zach Mettengerger. Mettenberger is good, and has had a fine year but not one worthy of any awards. McCarron has less yards in more attempts, 4 more tds (once again more attempts) and has a lower QBR then Mettenberger...

McCarron being up for the Heisman proves that it is in fact a total joke, over-hyped popularity contest driven by who ever the media wants in it. Please go look at the SEC player passing stats for this year. Once you are there, for the sake of this argument, compare McCarron to Mettenberger. Now...

totally agree with you daj. Hate the argument that you have to have an SEC guy coaching your team. When CBJ was playing against the awful Big East its not like he was playing with an SEC skilled team, He beat Big East teams with a Big East team. He beat teams with similar (sometimes higher)...
