This blows my mind....That they will pay a kid that barely shaving big money to come play for their school and they haven't done a thing to warrant it. The nuts giving that money gets what they deserve when things go south, IMO. Like the Nico deal.

I'm 70 and my fandom of college sports is at an all-time low. I have no problem with kids being paid...although I do have a problem paying a 17 year old big money to come play for you. But, IMO the big major issue is the free portal. Fix the portal and it will eliminate most of the problems...

Till this day I can't believe we fired Fulmer, paid him millions to go away from the 1 program he was in charge of....Then a few years later hired him to 'oversee' the entire athletic department. You just couldn't make that up. And some people wondered why we were so dysfunctional.

Yep...Hearing some other schools making a push. I use to say I never cared about an recruit until he signed and got on campus. Now that doesn't even mean anything anymore.

IMO....to keep him around. If he bolted we'd be left with a transfer that will have less than 5 months to prepare and a true freshman. We'd be in worse shape than we had before the transfer.
