Any scrimmage news?

Rob Lewis confirms the Vols would make the numbers work to take Blackshear or Bilau. He admits he doesn’t know exactly how.

Rob Lewis just posted that Texas, Baylor, and Texas Tech wanted him. So I think it was a good take. His mom helped with track at Texas while Barnes was coaching there. His parents Love Barnes and trust him.

I like a good mystery lol. And the numbers do not worry me. We aren’t going to turn away great players. Numbers always work themselves out.

Rob Lewis said he thought Turner would play in the month of January. He said that was just his opinion though. So who knows. I think he gives it a shot soon.

Huge news to get him in the fold for certain.

Rob Lewis said that he would be surprised if Turner did play tomorrow since they have a whole week off after this next game. It would give him more time to get 100%.

Barnes said Turner still has a sore shoulder and is not going to bring him back until he is 100%. Rob Lewis said he should be back next week.

Fans will be there. Don’t worry. That game was vs an awful opponent.

High ankle sprain

Killian Tillie has a stress fracture and will miss up to eight weeks. He will be out for our game vs. Gonzaga

Rob Lewis said Rick was really strict about the scrimmage notes getting out, however he said he heard that the team played really well and no one got hurt.

I asked Rob and he replied, “Coaches say Bowden. I'm sure Turner will handle it some.” I will be interested to see his development there.
