I keep seeing this mentioned about the offense

Defense is going to be on the field a lot due to Heupel's offense. Uh...Am I missing something here? Did we not have enough 3-and-outs over the last several years that *any* offense would be an improvement?

    The Iceman vs Manning

Look. Whole team perspective. Spurrier owened Fulmer, big time. I rememember FL having 4th and 1s that turned into 50 yard TDs. Fulmer relied on athleticism, the OL, and defensive athletic ability. Spurrier exploited Fulmer's tendencies. IMO, a lot of the Manning vs. Spurrier games came down to...

The difference in mentality between Jeremy Pruitt and Butch Jones

Butch not utilizing Kamara to his full potential. Kamara was, what, offensive rookie of the year? JFC, how do you not utilize him as a weapon when we needed it. Dobbs and co. pulled wins out despite of Butch's incompetence, not because of his great coaching. The hail mary between Dobbs and...

Youch - Luke, Odom and Morris all fired this season...

That was Joey Freshwater, not Kiffin.

    Pruitt might not win COY

Defense looks *really* strong. Offense is still inconsistent but improving. I mean, a goal line stand to prevent a touchdown at Missouri? Name a time in the last decade that's happened. (I mean, it may have, but I don't remember it.) The defense looks really, really, good.

    Getting to six... how?

I'm going to predict a regular season record of 7-5. You heard it here, just now. Will absolutely not eat crow if wrong.

    Pruitt might not win COY

Hey guy, the team passes the eyeball test. My take is the team hadn't fully grasped the defense, and we had offensive struggles those first few games. At a certain point, the defense started playing lights out, and aside from tonight, so did JG. Also, did you see the second half statistics the...

Interesting comment by Pruitt during his postgame press conference

How many teams with a winning record did we beat last year?

SEC Coach Of The Year ...

I mean, yeah, I get it, but I've seen the highlights. Guys were way out of position on defense both games. Bituli comes back, and magically, tackles start happening. You look at games where Bituli starts, and where he was missing, and see where players are not where they should be. That's all...

Things just feel different with Pruitt

Football IQ time people. Butch won games on the basis of having an amazing amount of generational athletic talent, not out of any coaching he did. Dobbs, Kamara, Hurd, Evan Berry, Cam Sutton? Those guys won games *in spite of* Botch, not because of him. Watching any Botch coached games that went...

SEC Coach Of The Year ...

Regarding the 0-2 start. Does anyone besides me feel like if Bituli had played those games, those are easy wins? Defense seemed to be way better after he got back.

    Jauan Wick

Sorry, it's a quote from the movie John Wick, whose description you can read above. I feel the description fits Jauan quite well, a man of commitment, focus, and sheer will. Also, fantastic movie if you haven't seen it.

    Jauan Wick

Viggo: It's not what you did, son, that angers me so. It's who you did it to. Iosef: Who? That ****ing nobody? Viggo: That "****in' nobody"... is Jauan Wick. He once was an associate of ours. They call him "Baba Yaga." Iosef: The Boogeyman? Viggo: Well Jauan wasn't exactly the Boogeyman. He was...

Just looking through the Fire Pruitt....

He had almost 4 entire seasons as the starter (45 games.) His production was serviceable. If you compare him to the names above him and below him on the list, it's laughable. #1: Travis Henry. 33 games as a starter, 3,078 yards, 5.5 avg. #2: Arian Foster. 47 games as a starter, 2,964 yards, 4.6...
