I think a better question to ask him would be "So, coach, what happened to the pressing defense? 40 minutes of hell doesn't mean the same as it did in years past".
He is going to have a rough remaining school year. Heard he was given OSS or ISS for "skipping" school yesterday. Doesn't help him that Coach Lamb's wife is school counselor.
Spoiler alert...
Word out of Calhoun High School is Da'Rick is spreading the word that he will be choosing UT tomorrow. Of course, he is 18, so that could change by tomorrow.
Also, just an fyi on his stats...during the summer/fall workouts, he did post a 41" standing vertical leap. The 4.29 40...
As good a source as any other on here. LOL. JK. Sorry, that's just the way I talk. A QB club member/booster whom I assume spoke with Coach Lamb. HS football down here is a very serious subject to the locals (not me, I'm a good old TN boy stranded in a foreign land).
Again, TIFWIW...
From a fly on the wall...
4 UGA coaches ended up visiting DR Tuesday. When asked by his coach where he stood, he told them UGA high, UT low. TIFWIW. There are other factors in play, of course, but I guess I'm a low expectations gets you nice surprises kinda guy. Adds a little suspense to NSD...
From what I hear, Calhoun (read UGA homers) boosters are none too happy with Mr. Nance and classy isn't an adjective they are using to describe him at the moment. It's going to be downright ugly for him if he "steers" Da'Rick to UT.
GBO!
JMO...but I don't think we get DR. Hope I'm wrong. The...
Dont' know about the jet but it would be the easiest way here. CMR did meet with Da'Rick & the Nances. From what I hear, he made it clear that UGA does not offer one player to get another.
From what I hear down here, Calhoun High School is coach central the next few days. CDD & a UGA coach today and CMR tomorrow. People are starting to get a little ill will toward Nash's dad it appears.
"The offensive line has been hit the hardest with Cullen, Green, Stone, Robinson, Coleman and possibly C. Smith who many thought would be moved to OL."
Stone, Robinson & Coleman were never ours to begin with and Smith was a maybe OL. We lose Green who was still not committed but keep JJames.
