The Official #5 Tennessee @ Georgia Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN2

JJJ is one of the worst crunch time players to ever wear orange. He is the JG of basketball. Just good enough to play, but when the lights get bright, he goes dark. It was a sad day when he came back.

What’s up with the play calling this year?

Heupel is playing a QB than is incapable of running his offense. Milton is Gaurantano at best and is a team killing cancer of a QB. The fact that Heupel can’t see it makes him no better than Dooley, Butch, or Pruitt. The fact that we had to be embarrassed at UF for him to see it is an...

I would rather go .500 this season with Nico than see Milton start a single down from here on out.

Everyone wants to say that JM doesn’t play defense and it’s not his fault. However, Heupels entire system is bent on scoring fast and pressing the other team into obvious passing situations which allows the defense to rush the QB and gamble on INTs. When the QB cannot execute the quick strike...

I would rather go .500 this season with Nico than see Milton start a single down from here on out.

Our defense tonight is the same defense from last year. The only difference tonight is that our offense was pathetic. If we score 40, then the defense is just fine. Nobody wins games in NCAA football anymore 10-7. Our offense put up 10 points in real game time which is an embarrassment and falls...

    '26 TN OT Brody Smith

He is still 15. He is easily 6'5 250 currently. He moves very well for his size too. He for sure has that look of an athlete that just moves differently then everyone else. He plays basketball as well at Bearden.

    Josiah-Jordan James returning to Tennessee

What's the risk of a younger player now transferring out because they don't want to sit another year behind JJJ?

Bj Edwards in the portal? [confirmed]

Not trying to be snarky, but SMU was 10-22 (5-13) last season. They did have a pretty good 2021-2022 season at 24-9 (13-4). All the other previous seasons were very mediocre. Not to mention the AAC is falling apart. Houston, Cincy, and UCF are gone. It’s a full mid major conference at best now...

    Tennessee Transfer Portal Targets

Savhir Wheeler is an absolutely terrible PG. He is in the same mold as KD Johnson and Wendell Green Jr. For every game they play well, there will be 2 no shows and 1 game they are the REASON you lose. Both Cal and Bruce have been fooled by these guys and neither team has been very good with...

JJJ hurts us on offense and its apparent when he’s gone

I actually agree with the OP and have been saying it since the end of last regular season and during this recent stretch. JJJ is terribly inconsistent on offense, mostly because he is never healthy and is a rhythm player. He rarely has had a chance in the last 2 years to string together several...

    2025 Target List

Deondre Linsday also has great potential. Lindsay has good size for a wing and a developing face the basket game. Both are BMaze kids. Capps mom is a coach and it shows. He has all the tools in the bag and good positional size.

    2025 Target List

I wonder if Barnes and Co will be interested in 2025 Cade Capps from Stone Memorial. He was all state as a freshman. He is currently ranked in the top 5 for TN. 6'4 guard that can score at all three levels with unlimited range. I have seen him play and he has a chance to be power 5 IMO. Cade...

‘23 VA SG Davin Cosby Jr.

Auburn just offered…..because why spend anytime or effort scouting when you can just wait for Tennessee to scout and to offer?

    2023 Target List

I wonder if Bruce even has a scouting department anymore? He seemingly just waits for Barnes and company to scout and identify talent then he just offers them right after us.

‘23 AL Cade Phillips (Tennessee commit)

A lot of heat on this being our first 2023. What a great start to the class. Not to mention it takes a player right of the heart of Bama (literally and figuratively).

We might be done with 1 & dones after this starts

This is for 16-18 year olds. This is different than the G-League option for sure. Although I do agree that it will be a small number of players that opt for it as the exposure will be limited compared to high-level college ball.
