It is a sad statement but no one should be surprised. Our society has been in the “F the rules, win at all costs for a long time now. Ethics and integrity left years ago. Those are distant memories. That leaves you to stand by and watch things happen, or happen to things as DiVinci said. Playing...
I don’t even believe the number compared to Auburn. And USC? They’re too busy crying about all the issues in CA to care about college football. The VOLS are ranked a bit too low here but whatever. GBO.
Everybody just relax. Our WRs are dominant in routes on air, air routes, or catch or whatever the accurate term is for pitch and catch. I guess I was running routes on air with my Dad in the front yard all those years ago. We are fine with this group of WRs and TEs. Just fine. GBO!!
Then this whole thing is a farce and it’s just picking 12 teams the committee likes rather than the 12 best teams. Too many good teams remaining with 2 losses or less.
Whoa. Slow down. ESPN analytics is saying there is a 3% chance UT will not make the playoffs even with the win over Vandy. Don’t know why or how or what would cause that, but that’s what ESPN is saying and well, they know everything about sports. (Imagine blue font here of course.) GBO!
Our VOLS have knocked a lot of QBs out this year - and some more “out” than others. Don’t want to see anyone injured of course, but rattled and questioning their reason for playing football Saturday afternoon is fair and square. Remember the old bumper sticker - ”Hate Vandy Early - Avoid the...
Bingo. Keep ‘em guessing who the QB will be. Make the have to game plan for two QBs not just one. Oh an by the way, whichever QB UT does play next week, can we PLEASE stop running the ball up the middle every other play? I get the conservative strategy, I get running the clock - but not in...
I saw several KY players “injured” and then back on the field within a play or two. They had a few legit injuries for sure, but some were still questionable. GBO!
The memo from Sankey didn’t make it to Lexington apparently. I guess they are still using snail mail in that part of the country. Way too many ”injuries” last night - a few legit - a few that were head-scratchers. Stoops should be up for a least a public reprimand (see the letter) and a fine...
At some point today, someone said - and it may have been on ESPN - that Tennessee beat Alabama for “just the second time in 18 games.” True, but we have also beaten them “twice in the last 3 games.” Stats are funny things aren’t they. I’ll take “2 out of the last 3 for $800 Ken….” GBO!
Sean McDermott said so when this occurred. There has to be a rule put in place to take the “injured” player off the field for the rest of the series in cases where it’s obvious they flopped. It’s just happening too often and ruining the game.
