No. This game should have been over well before OT. The D just consistently gave up big plays and displayed piss poor technique by way of tackling and angles taken.
As @Vol865 mentioned and I’ll gladly concede, the O did nothing to help this.
And I don’t disagree with that at all, but the crux of most of the D’s shortcomings were technique and scheming, rather than them being gassed.
To your point though, this offense isn’t conducive to an overly successful D in general, but it can’t be as pitiful as it was tonight.
