As I read this article, I realized that Chaz Lanier needs to read what he is quoted as saying near the end of the article. He so fits the culture that CRB and his staff has created at Tennessee. It's a match made in Heaven. I don't know where Chaz will end up going, but the match at Tennessee...
We could just move on to other options. Chaz is gonna do what Chaz is gonna do. I really hope we get him. I think he could really complete this recruiting cycle, but we gotta be ready in case he goes elsewhere. I am sure that CRB and staff have other prospects in case we don't get him. I just...
Definition of a Vol For Life - I don't think anyone else but you can define a VFL. What I mean is, being a VFL means different things to different people. Some people may have played a sport at UT. Some went to school at UT. Some worked for UT. Some are donors. Some like UT for various reasons...
Dalton Knecht will be a Tennessee player that Vol fans will talk about and admire for years to come. Yeah, he could score from anywhere on the court, but he played with so much confidence and poise. He wanted to be "one of the guys," but he wasn't afraid of the moment. There was not a shot that...
There was a trend for a few years in the NBA to draft young payers with no or one year of college experience. Then the NBA team could put them in the G League and develop them. That trend seems to be changing. NBA teams are loosing many young players after their rookie contract runs out to other...
The really good PG's that are listed at 6'0" or under, usually stay longer in college because the pros want them to be taller. ZZ is an example. I like getting a PG that will stay in the program for 3-4 years. Seems like we have a lot more stability that way. Go get Hammond now!
You are going to be able to raise a Volunteer! Awesome! While you are teaching him to love the Vols, I would encourage you to also teach him about Jesus! Nothing is greater than being a parent! Enjoy!
I promise you, CRB is on it! For the last three roster spots, I predict we get Lanier, a young PG, and a young post. If this happens, look out! The Vols are ready for another deep run! Go Vols!
Coach Barnes is probably going to play a nine man rotation. So, they will probably finish out the recruiting, after they sign Igor and Lanier, with players that they can develop for the future. Anderson and Mabor would be two great players to develop for the future. imho
