I do not want to take away from what Joey did this year, but he is not the answer for next year.

I know it is early, but the results so far are underwhelming. Joey next year is not the answer and we have major holes to fill. I hope that when it said and done that we are filling needs with quality players, not just bodies.

It is the right thing to do for the kid and the university. I would rather release him than make him transfer.

Heupel needs to issue a statement that he has spoken to Bey and he indicated that he is all Vol or issue a statement that he is releasing Bey from his comittmment.

They paid Nico twice, at some point the constant me me me becomes a distraction to the team. UT did not cause this situation, it's all on Nico. You'll get paid at UT, but with that comes some responsibility to the team and the university.

I get that he is renegotiating his contract for more money. But using practice as a negotiating tool is a bridge too far. Let him go. He has involved the whole team and there is no coming back.
