The same people bitching about this visit would also complain if Leavitt fell through and the staff was flat footed without any semblance of a backup plan. It’s called not putting all your eggs in one basket.

As others have pointed out, JA isn’t coming back for 2025 money….his number is gonna go up and I’d guess substantially if he does get another year. Wouldn’t be shocked if he asks for Leavitt money, but I don’t think he’d get that anywhere.

I agree. Solid OL and a good defense is the way IMO. Plus, the floor for QB play under Heupel is always pretty high, so I don’t think either option would be awful.
