Looks like they'll be demoting him because they don't want to pay him to go away. It's an accounting/HR thing. But he's effectively no longer the one with any power in the Athletic Dept.

I think this completely resets everything. I think Leach is off the table now as is everybody else Currie made contact with. Blank slate.

I don't know if the contact with our staff happened before or after they reached out to Leach though. I also don't know if it went anywhere at all, just that it happened. I know Steve Wilks has some ties to the state of Tennessee for whatever that's worth.

Like who initiated it? Pretty sure it was the Tennessee AD or an intermediary on his behalf.
