I have a negative outlook. OU sucked on pass defense last year and we have a new O line, new QB, new Offensive coordinator and a new offensive scheme. I'd be surprised if OU wins this game (hope I'm wrong, of course).

Last year OU was one of the worst Pass defense teams in the country. I'm surprised that is not being stressed more going into this game.

OU installed the Wishbone in the TX game in 1970. We got blistered by TX 41-9 but Switzer (Off coordinator then) was thrilled because we moved the ball. Royal and TX actually helped give some instruction to our coaches on how to install it. But TX bone was really built for power and Switzer...

Thanking people for following their team is rather an awkward thing to say. Either they're surprised to see you follow your team or that you'd follow them to Norman. Surprised you were seeing many OU stickers towards the last half of the season...we stunk it up.

A minor correction....OU won in 73 at Owen field 27-0 and Nebraska never crossed midfield. OU won in Lincoln in 72 17-14 ( I think). I agree though...our D in 71 was fairly average but the O was dynamite. We would have been lucky to split a 10 game series. I was at the 71 and 73 games.

I've spent quite a bit of time in TN and have some good friends that are big Vol alums/backers. They took me to the Vol/Bama game in 2004 and I loved everything about the atmosphere, vol navy, the Tennessee river going right by the stadium, the stadium and the tradition. Really outstanding...

It is a neutral site. Get into that stadium and you'll see the stadium is evenly divided with red and orange meeting right down the center.

Most OU or TX fans would never consider changing the game from the Cotton Bowl. It's not just a game it's an event. It's heresy to even suggest it.

That is true. An inexperienced secondary even with Sanchez in the game. Wade at linebacker is important because of depth where we were already thin due to Shannon being forced to sit a year by OU.

Thanks for the welcome. I can certainly understand Vol fans concerns. I would imagine just about every fan base has some concerns at this point in the season. I know I do. We had some pretty good teams that I never thought was very good at running the ball. It does seem like that area...
