So Sad to hear - I just found out about his passing away this morning, he was true offensive genius with his "Air Raid" offense , scoring a lot of points, opening up the passing game to where it made it fun to watch college football , He was a winner pretty much every where he coached - RIP...

the Vols should play well enough to make an impression on this "dynamic duo", especially scoring plenty of touchdowns in victory, maybe they will see the light ( or already believe) that TCU should be lower in the rankings

one of my all-time favorites, I remember he would sometimes take hand-offs and do the "hurdle" over the line toward the goal line, instead of the legs kicking up he would launch and spin on his back like a 180 to 360 move, the TV announcers would refer to Richmond using his hurdle skill to leap...

seems like in recent years August has been the "bad news month" for off-field problems - like the " busted for weed" month, weapons violations, thefts etc. Hopefully this won't be the case this season.

do these college athletes get to hire an agent/lawyer to handle deals and negotiate with schools, big booster $$ groups etc? If these NIL deals result in more wins, championships, prize recruits - then many fans will accept it. Who said "Greed is Good"? .

so true, they couldn't shoot well enough to win in regulation but managed to win in overtime - the announcers on SEC network said it was a bizarre game - the fact the Vols won with the shooting struggles they had was bizarre fortune!
