Dude Stetson was a 4th rounder (admittedly a wash out due to suspected alcoholism issues) but Beck is twice the QB that he was. Come on now. tOSU and USC quarterbacks wash out due to their lack of understanding of NFL style offenses. They run very simple schemes that don’t translate to the NFL.

Never said UT paid Nico. He was paid before playing though. Beck has created value for his Name, Image, & Likeness through his play on the field.

“Traditional” incentive would be like Nico getting $$ to come to UT = pay for play In this case, UGA is paying Beck to not turn pro. He’s earned the money on the field already.

Doubt it. But I think BAMA shot their shot against us. Their OL/DL didn’t look nearly as dominant as they did in SEC championship game. It feels like Kirby changes how we play when we face BAMA. Our seniors went 50-4 with 2 of those losses to Saban. He’s gotten in Smart’s head for sure.
