I really don’t think it’s that bad, honestly. A&M is the only truly intimidating road game and we get the top teams at home, where we rarely lose under Heupel. LSU is probably breaking in a new QB, as well, and are coached by Brian Kelly. Texas is tough, but not unbeatable. Same for Bama. Auburn...
It could be. When we have had good QB play under Heupel, there’s at least been one SEC road blowout. Missouri 2021 and LSU 2022 come to mind immediately.
I just think we have too many advantages at too many positions for State to beat us. They’re gonna scratch and claw and give us everything they have, but by the 4th quarter, they’ll be done.
Miss State is far better than I expected them to be this year, but they still just aren’t that good. We need to play a clean game, but as long as we do that, we roll in this game. They just don’t have the talent or depth to slow us down for 4 quarters.
I lean towards no, honestly. UGA typically gets stronger and stronger as the season goes on. Early season at home was the perfect setup to beat them. Late in the year, neutral site? Idk, man.
Typical no-class, trailer trash UGA fans. Screw them. I love how they call us hillbillies when half their fan base could’ve been extras in Deliverance from what I’ve seen. They are simply the worst fans in the SEC. Period. I hate Bama, as a team more, but I have found most of the Bama fans I’ve...
I’m still recovering from the loss, honestly. This one is going to sting for a long, long time. It’s equivalent to Oklahoma and Florida in 2015, for me, which are the most painful losses I have ever experienced. They literally made me sick to my stomach afterwards. Like something had been stolen...
I like Spurrier as a person. He’s like Lane Kiffin if Lane wasn’t a complete douche bag. But I will never take anything he says about the Vols seriously unless he’s making fun of us. Then I know he’s being genuine.
I’m actually surprised at their lack of confidence. I would not be too worried about the game if I was in their shoes, honestly. Yeah, I would think UGA could lose, but unlikely based on the last 8 years.
It’s definitely the best I have felt about beating UGA since 2016. Vegas agrees. I believe the spread was as high as UGA -8.5, now it’s UGA -4.5, which is certainly a swing.
