Let’s not forget Mark Levine. Fulmer, the great big orange himself, played him ahead of Jamal Lewis due to his immense prowess at pass blocking.

It's not about recapturing childhood, it's about making an effort to produce a decent product. I don't see anyone complaining about lost childhood except you, so you will probably have to keep repeating yourself.

That's good that you and other people feel that way. I know I do not any longer care and it is really disappointing. All I can see is what could have been done to make these characters good (not even great mind you) instead of marginally serviceable and surrounded by a cast I more or less detest.

To add to that, Kylo and Rey are only as good as the development of the characters around them. Snoke adds nothing to Kylo, Luke doesn't really add much either. The rest of the cast certainly does not. If I think Snoke was pointless and died too easily, Kylo Ren just suffered a blow as well...

The Star Wars 8 SPOILER thread.

Yes, considering the First Order's repeated inability to fire on a planet base, shoot down a single X-Wing, catch a crawling away Resistance fleet, be stalled by corny communique dialogue, etc. WTH can't Luke bring down a GRLA-AT? This seems downright conservative and boring considering the...

In other news, the sky is blue and grass is green. I am learning so much today.

    1. Well, if he brings Kylo's walker down, Kylo likely never gives the order to fire does he? And why wouldn't he fight Luke? He fought fake Luke thinking he was real didn't he?!?! I am at a loss for your your argument. All the negative counter arguments you make are actually in the movie and...

Drinking milk out of land manatee titties, and they seem to really like Luke doing it. 'Nuff said.

Yes, and this would be the hokiest of them all.

Nothing is ridiculous about it. It is the execution of it, like every other failed effort in the movie.

Let's assume it all happens the same, but for real. Writers can write - well, not evidenced here. But assuming they can write accordingly, this works fine. All they have to do is undo a few craptastic prior choices, any of which work. Remove the flashback cornball moment where Rey has to use...

Hologram, projection, mind screw, whatever you call it - just arguing semantics. The key issue is it was a hollow and weak ending devised for Luke. He could have just as easily hopped on the Falcon, had a true heartfelt face to face with his sister and inspired the survivors and died any number...

The Star Wars 8 SPOILER thread.

I found nothing redeeming about this movie other than the visual artists who worked on the film. Apparently the director also wrote the script, but the writing and decision making seems like a committee effort and the end result is just a hot mess. What gives with all the cornball humor and...

Favorite Tennessee quarterback not named Peyton?

Here is how I always rate my favorites: "Who would I pick to be on my team today?" My answer would be Heath Shuler hands down. I would even give him a slight push over Peyton. We are talking about collegiate level, and Shuler just had it all. Tough, pure cannon, and could run it as well as...
