Alabama is also in the heart and soul area of College football (The SEC) as well as one of the most successful college football teams in history. Tennessee isnt Alabama. Traditionally, they're not even close to Alabama. However, this is also a different era/day/time. Do you realize how hard it...
Do you really want Shannon on your staff knowing Miami *could* get buried by the NCAA at any time?? You gotta remember, everything that happened was on Shannon's watch too.
All three were declaring after the Florida game this past year. Ive been saying it on here for nearly a month now. Bray looked me in the eye and said specifically "Anyone that can go, will go" (talking about himself, Hunter and Patterson). Had nothing to do with who was hired as coach.
You can hire Petrino and play for an SEC Title by 2016 or you can hire whoever is left and stay behind Florida & Georgia for the next 5-10 years. You're call UT.

That's not true at all...Well, maybe the Falcons part. Louisville was a basketball school before Petrino ever got there. While he didnt exactly turn them into a National Title contender, Louisville enjoyed some of their best years while he was there. Once he left the place went to hell. You cant...
Tressel has a 5 year show cause...bad bad bad bad bad bad idea. I would however drop $4 million in Petrino's lap and then laugh my way to the SEC Championship game in about 3 years.
I love how on the radio this morning, I believe it was Will West, said his gf's mother would never root/back...
Bobby Petrino for 5yr/$25 Million, a new Harley and exclusive rights to Heather Harrington. Also a $20 buyout clause if he wants to leave at any point before his contract is up.
Honestly, I feel Tennessee has fallen into a boat that teams like Miami, Michigan, Penn St and Nebraska have seem to be in. While traditional they're "top notch" schools. Over the years they've slide down the list behind the new flashier teams like Oregon, Boise St and TCU and its really hurt them.

Instead of having the double orange stripe down the leg, why not for a home game have just a orange/white checkered board stripe down the leg. It wouldnt be "flashy" yet it will still keep team colors and have some sort of tie in to the UT tradition.
