Exactly. Most of us expected to regress this year, just not as much as AP and UF games seem to indicate. We aren't at the point yet where we can just "reload" after losing players of Hooker/Hyatt etc. caliber.

Agree Trojan. I think most Vols fans expected a regression this year, but not as big a regression as we seem to be having. Maybe at some point TN can be like UGA and Bama, and lose players like Hooker, Hyatt, etc. and not have much fall-off. But we are a long way from that point right now...

The unspoken, but accurate fact is that it is pretty easy for a decent to good team to win the ACC. The only real competition Clemson has in that conference (for now at least) is FSU. Routinely facing weak competition is no recipe for post season success.

Honestly surprised UGA took their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. A scoop and score or some other flukey play and the vols could have been down only a TD with several minutes to play. Another flukey play or two and the vols could have taken the lead. Would have been the biggest injustice...

How would you feel if you were told the Vols would only have 6 at the start of the fourth?
