Haslam has countless hours of privately recorded conversations by the FBI and Lane is the subject of quite a few of those. THAT is why he will never be here again to coach.

There are too many recorded conversations from Pilot about Lane from 2010 and 2011 for them to ever bring him back unfortunately.
