I'm sure some will, but hey it's part of the game. If ya'll are the bigger people, good for you. Ya'll just landed a monster deal if true...but ya'll overpaid...just joking.
this has sexton written all over it. So if ya'll paid over 600 for him. Do the "for that amount of money I don't want him" talk still hold true. Yeah, probably not.
The only question I have is that the staff is NFL coach heavy. I realize these guys have CF experience but I think for recruiting there needs to be a guy that has been really involved in college recruiting lately and has good ties to local coaches. Obviously, you guys know this better then I...

I think you guys are just fine. Kiffin, I would imagine, will be running offense anyway. The two Kiffins will go a long way in recruiting. I think the only question with Monte is he up for hitting the recruiting trail. If so, he will get some fine recruits.
No, this was at UT. Unfortunately, we lost. I still had a hell of time. In fact, quite a bit of the game is still hazy. I remember being up by fourteen. Some UT fan next to me wanting to kill Clausen...literally. For three quarters he was wanting to do so. Fourth quarter, Clausen lead a...
Buckeye, I just posted how much fun I had at the UT LSU game a few years back. I really enjoyed the campus and the freaking river was awesome. The ribbing is just part of it. As usual some can take it too far, but meh, just have fun with it.
There have been many that reported UT was willing to pay around the 600 mark for him. I really think the fact that he gets to stay home is the deciding point. If it was LSU, he would most definetly be at UT. Sexton is really sticking the screws to everything SEC.
Also, I have to add that...
I'm sure he would base on familiarity, but Les saw an oppurtunity to get O. Quite frankily, I'm glad he did. As far as stressed situation, I believe Chavis knew going into this deal that Ed was a target. If he was uncomfortable, he would have signed with Clemson. Same with Ed. He won't do...
No sir. Some believe it was accepted in principle and that the final signature will be given tomorrow some time. Ed is apparently taking the family on a small vacation to talk things over and make sure everyone is happy about the deal.
I think O had real interest in UT until the family issue arose. I honestly don't think O expected Miles to come calling at first. The ability to stay home and coach college ball might be too much for him to pass up. Any other situation and he goes to UT.
I do agree with this. I think this is why the O hire was so important. Right now LSU has a great recruiting class going but most of it falls on the O side of the ball. Ogre will bring some solid D recruits (which accompanies the Chavis hire) and really help coach up the D line. LSU doesn't...
