quality is the important thing... i agree i don't like the whole rivals/scout team rankings -- they are a product of numbers and quality.... but they disregard teams that are short on scholarships. teams that take 17 excellent players due to scholly limitations can be ranked below teams...

so far, the teams that are just killin it out there are OU, anOSU, UM, ND, UCLA, UGA, USC, and UCLA. all of these teams are tearing it up
