I also think that some of these historically good franchises had to tank a bit for them to move on so quickly to chase him.
The Jets were dying to get him. Mayo flamed out and Kraft did the smart thing to rip bandaid off.
Timing and Opportunity is the name of the game. I personally think Heupel is going to be here a minimum of 2 more years. He has made good changes to his personal philosophy with staffing changes. Now he has to fix those boneheaded management decisions that really came out of nowhere this year...
Lmao.... Like people didn't realize he had the luxury of choosing his next job. Outside of the Chargers, there wasn't a great job out there available that cycle. New England telegraphed that Mayo would take over for Billy B.
Vrabel took a year off really and waited. Chances are he knew that...
I just go back to this…. There are people who thought that Vrabel was not the best coach to lead the team through a total rebuild….. meanwhile the folks that replaced him never even sniffed his worst years as their best years.
The best of Callahan never even came close to the worst of Vrabel...
And AAS looks like the jackass of the century.
She had a major brain rot issue thinking she runs a franchise that can buy their way into success.
This is absolutely hilarious outcome
The lack of guys due to injury may be the best thing for Barnes. Sounds messed up to say but they give one or two less rotations / lineups where Barnes is limited. Very much forcing Barnes into sink or swim lineups.
March 2020, Fulkerson took the battered Vols to Rupp and put up 27 points and an 81-73 win.
Tonight, our #10 took the battered Vols to Tuscaloosa, hung 29 points and a 79-73 win.
Great leadership by our #10.
