Yes sir! It's unfortunate and this may end up ruining college football. Hell every school cheats and buys players. Saban and Smart are Hypocrits for whining about the NIL. It's just legal now. But nobody can convince me if a kids heart is at say TN, but gets a couple thousands more somewhere...
NIL matters to every recruit but these damn Alabama kids are under so much stress and scrutiny from parents, Coach's, Fans and other family to stay home and play. It's unfortunate because some end up transferring and only went there because of the strong pushing they received. It's sad and...
And being from the area( Helena), which is next door to Alabaster I've got a lot of friends kids who play and have played there. You have no clue how Much the Elite players from Thompson get pushed to Alabama. It's unfortunate but a sad truth.
Not so sure about that, every SEC school has the money to NIL any player they want. It's not just about money, he's getting paid wherever he goes. Hopefully he can see that he probably starts day 1 at TN. Ala is loaded with guys like him in the secondary. Hoping that Playing time and getting...
Hate to say it but Thompson HS is loaded with Coach's with ties to Ala. Including their HC. Most of Thompson's Elite end up in Tuscaloosa. Holding out hope that he's a Vol, but those ties are hard to overcome.
If he wants to play in the NFL he can't keep bouncing from school to school. But Texas and USC were 2 bad situations, so that's also some bad luck. Believe he will play here, early, often and do it well.
He really is the most clueless poster on here. The same guy that had a man crush on JG and swore every year was gonna be his breakout season. We saw how that turned out. Dude is cluelss AF.
So is every HS recruit. . NOBODY knows how ANY HS recruit turn out. It's all a crap shoot. It really is ok to be excited about new, highly ranked players though.
