    Jonathan Crompton... (merged)

I am still a huge Kiffin Fan, but more of the same up the middl is our only coaching mistake and it could have cost us the game. Share Today at 8:56pm | Edit Note | Delete Go look at this series on ESPN 360 if you don't believe me. Montario Hardesty rush for 7 yards to the UCLA 47. 19 13...

Optimistic? Yes, but hey, there's always a chance

Yes, but we gotta get those first road game/rival jitters out of the way and it's against Florida... but what better way is there to do it if you are looking at building a program as opposed to a more short sighted concept such as this season. (Not calling you short sighted, I just spent the...

Optimistic? Yes, but hey, there's always a chance

This is the way I see it: Enjoyed reading this thread. I'm not a fortune teller, but if we execute as well as we did against WKU on both offense and defense... I think we beat UCLA by several touchdowns at least. We CAN'T lose our 1st string linebackers and our second string will have to play...

SEC Fans Starting to Notice the Vols

Enjoyed reading this thread. I'm not a fortune teller, but if we execute as well as we did against WKU on both offense and defense... I think we beat UCLA by several touchdowns at least. We CAN'T lose our 1st string linebackers and our second string will have to play much better than they did...

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

Which earns him the right to compete for the starting job in the off season I believe.

Shucks, I meant BCS bowl games! Not SEC Championships... but my point remains!

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

I don't agree with Ainge coming here! I never said that! But I'm more interested in the fact that USC quarterbacks aren't doing well in the NFL due to lack of PT in College (per this article of course and I agree). And looks like I am dead wrong about Kiffin's involvement of the three recent...

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

Well, I did wonder about that. I think he's earned a little PT against better D then... but yeah, that doesn't say much.

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

Fact, Peyton Manning worked 100% had Archie as his father coaching him along with the staff. Fact, Ainge did not have the same coordinator the entire time. He also was injured much of the time. I'm not saying that he is Peyton at this point. That's my point. But still... fact, when he came in...

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

Umm... well that's a stretch... but that doesn't negate his performance which was better on average than either of the other two's performance. He hasn't had the PT... but when he is in... he produces and is good and beats the defense.

You weren't watching the game I watched.

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

I thought the only QB of the three that Kiffin had anything to do with was Leinart. You all are partially missing the point of this guys' article. He is saying they needed more playing time to develop. This article isn't a crack on or praise of a coach. It's an insightful perspective on what...

This Could Put A Crimp In USC Recruiting!

Anybody on here got the connections to put this link under the noses of Scroggins? Not only does it talk about how USC quarterbacks who are looking to be shoo-ins to the NFL aren't performing well in the NFL, it talks about how a former Vols QB is underrated and should be considered above their...

    Erik Ainge

PS... OK... great is an overstatement. He looked good and better than either of the other quarterbacks.
