Seems like if DeBoer says no then their coaching market falls through the floor. Washington went through some really tough times in football over the last 20 years. You have to think they will match or exceed anything Alabama throws at him.

I would argue Tennessee is second to none at those categories you mentioned yet we've had a tough 15 years. The gumps aren't immune either. Texas A&M is probably far and away first in those categories and they struggle to be more than a 8-4 program.

Exactly. People forget this. They were desperate because nobody would take the job. The pressure of coaching there and following Saban's run will be immense. Someone will take the gig but they're absolutely crazy because these Gumps are as spoiled and entitled as they've ever been.

I'd hardly say his behavior over the last two years was dignified. He was always complaining about something and the politicking for his two loss team to get in was just embarrassing.
