At UGA, Rocker was not excited about getting out on the road to recruit…But when you brought the kids and their parents into his office…he was impressive…Problem is that most programs are out on the road every day trying to beat his pants off.

This board is making this too complicated…The point of fighting over gassers..The point is.. If you run gassers for f’ing up…After guys screw up a second time.. a leader gets in the Screw ups grill and a fight ensues because the leaders get tired of doing the penalties for the Screwups.

5Stars are coming from Tennessee…NewYork…Florida….Washington…State of Georgia highschool has been pretty average during the Smart years ..except that UGA is now keeping stud OL that left for Bama or Tennessee in Athens

CMR recruited athletes ignored lineman…after Neil Callaway..we went through constant OL coaches that were OJT guys who could not recruit...Smart might not be a rocket scientist but he values studs in the trenches….

The staff today is the best its been in a LONG time..and Pruitt will push it to become better. IF the man is given the time UT will return as a top-tier program. But tbat six week/five game obstacle course in 2018 probably added a year to the rebuild.

Well somebody better explain that Pittman already has one 5Star tackle committed..Tate makes the second OT for the 20 UGA class.

Pittman has two first rounders in the last three Drafts…and a ton of players in the NFL.

Personally I believe that CJPruitt was a great hire and given time he will be successful in Knoxvegas..but I don’t think his OL hire was a top tier hire…Having watched Coach Friend in Athens….The guy is a fine man, but I am unsure if his resume qualifies him for a position like UT…His UGA star...

Richt always had the "skill" players..but we were never stacked on D...always one critical injury/suspension away from a roster hole. But we always suffered from poor OL recruiting, development and depth...Pruitt made Smart's success possible...WIll Friend was one of the reasons Richt got...

Freshman QBs..few SEC offensive lineman…but the traditional pile of Richt athletes….Pruitt’s Defensive recruiting for TWO years gave him enough defensive talent to survive…but not enough depth to dominate.

Paying recruits is not illegal. it is an NCAA "rule" violation... and the NCAA has no subpoena powers to compel anybody to produce any evidence...Using Agents that get involved with families...that appears to be the route these days. Auburn nobody does it better...You get on probation trying...
