    Areas for Improvement

Fair assesment Atzar. My takeaways: semblance of a running good (improvement); D was faster, hit harder, and had less missed tackles (improvement); and a healthy Bray+Patterson+Hunter along w/ Rogers will be a threat against our SEC foes. The biggest improvement -as I saw it - was our...

    Not Impressed

Obviously, NCS is not Florida or Alabama but you still failed to take not of our improvement. Especially on defense. The last few years have seen soft and slow TN defenses. Tonight our D was faster, hit harder; and most of all, had few missed tackles. The increased speed was particularly...

Sunseri. Is he really the answer

With about 1:49 to go against NCS, I am very impressed with our defense. We were faster, hit harder, and most of all we did not miss tackles. Now this is only against NCS but what I saw bodes well for us.

    Living vicariously through the Tide

I hate them both. Especially AL.

Will Tennessee Offensive line be ready....

Just finished watching the AL-FL game, and our boys better be READY for Saban's. That defense swallows opponents whole. Our o-line needs to dig their heels in, toughen up, and get ready for the meat of our schedule; starting with Georgia next week. The 3rd Sat in Oct is not too far off. Go Vols.

Reasons we fixin to whip Georgias ass this year!! (A VN Classic)

I don't care about the "why" we are going to beat them; nor, do I care about how much we win by. Bottom line: we need this win. With SC losing, we can make a great East run by beating the Bulldogs. Plus, a win would give us great momentum going into LSU, AL, and Arkansas games.

Should we have given the Chief a chance?

He was/is a great def coordinator; BUT, can we please move on.

    Head Coaching Candidates?

What!? Are you kidding me!! After one loss! Whoever is calling for his head after ONE game should get some perspective and grow up a little. This man has begun to restore stability, a work ethic, and the understanding of what it means to be Vol to our program. Plus, look at his recruiting...

I'm proud but some of you suck.

Bray did some valuable growing up today, as did our o-line. A loss like this in a hostile stadium when a key guy goes out can grow us a lot. Now, we move on to Buffalo. And then, Athens. Those should be two victories for us. Even without Hunter. Go Vols!!!!

Ugh Dooley just hinted that Hunter is Done

    Couldn't have said it better.

    Cool your jets.

Missed tackles and pressure on our boy Bray killed us. We looked soft and slow. I so badly wanted to gut FL and that hog that they call an offensive coor. But baby, I love my Vols and can't wait until our next game. Go Vols!!!

    Cool your jets.

Let me get this off my chest, please: Son of a * * * * *! Sh* *! Next year, I want a Gator sent to the hospital! Okay; I am fine (not really) now. Let's have perspective, homesweetTN.

    T-minus two hours.

At work, BUT we have a 50 inch tv and I have it on CBS baby. Go Vols!

    ESPN doesn't hate us, anymore!

As I have said a thousand times before, who cares what ESPN thinks! Forget them! Whether we ever get a game day or not, whether we are featured ins some top ten list or not, get some award or not; I don't care. Don't forget: winning silences everybody. One Saturday at a time.

Official Game Thread - Tennessee vs. Cinninnati

To hell with ESPN, the anaylists, and whomever else is rumored to hate us. I don't care how ESPN feels about us. All that matters is winning, the right way. Winning can sure silence critics and make them into liars cause they'll all say that they really did always believe in us sll along...
