Each time he has moved on though it has been a major upgrade. He has pretty much reached the highest point in coaching. I wouldn't be surprised if he took the ND gig one day, but that won't be for a while IMO.:crossfingers:
Major difference though between leaving Utah for Florida and Florida for Notre Dame. Florida is a major step up from Utah. Being a Gator fan I am bias in this, but their is no way you can believe the step up to Notre Dame is equivalent. Like I said before, I think eventually he may end up there...
I hope he stays at UF, but I have no control over the situation. I think he will end up at Notre Dame at some point, but not until all his kids graduate.
I was hoping he was joking, but wasn't sure. I could understand if it had been an offensive player. Guess I should have given him the benefit of the doubt.:hi:
LV and Sab seem to be well respected on this site and a couple of pages ago they said Stone would be a big pickup. Funny how you guys criticize Gator fans saying our excuse is "we didn't want him anyways" if we don't land a talented in state player because it seems like that's the case here...
I guess elite wasn't the right word. Just out of that group of safeties listed, I would say he's been the most solid one for us. It just confused me that he picked him out of the group listed.
As I've posted on this board before, this site follows recruiting the closest. If there was a free Gator board that had this many people that posted about recruiting, I'd just post on it.
I think it's funny if you look at the offers of the guys we have committed now. You see USC, Notre Dame, Bama, UT, Miami, etc. If those schools thought they were worthy of an offer in addition to the UF coaching staff, I have a hard time believing they aren't elite players.
