Just between me and you, my wife works in Radiology.

My wife met him a couple of weeks ago, she said he was so nice. She had no idea who he was except he was huge and figured he was an ex athlete (they have a lot of athletes come through there). Somehow they started talking college and UT and he got so excited when she told him we both graduated...

I would much rather have UT put players in pros and have a losing record than actually win games. Great observation and take!!!

You are correct, it was not his play on the field, it was everything else why he got kicked off the team. Maybe I just don’t understand but having your team tell you to look elsewhere means you lost your job.

His position on the team was more than just play, it’s also about leading the team and being an example to others, which he never did. We don’t have to agree, just a difference of opinion. Peace.

Makes sense. Hooker still has a way to go, needs all the practice he can get. Just tired of the narrative that the Lions thinks he sucks. Why even draft someone who you know will sit a year rehabbing? From what I hear from my Lions fans at work, they love that Hooker is there.

Also had a sub par qb, could that have been the biggest issue?

Sign a veteran qb who is a great presence in the locker room and on the field? Someone who could help your young qb coming off a major injury? I can’t believe Hooker didn’t immediately start over an all pro qb.

I totally agree, he did an amazing job with us and the players loved him. Very sad.

If that happens quite a few big time UNC donors will be upset. They already didn’t like the HBC hire, it was done behind closed doors that weren’t supposed to be closed, if you know what I mean. All of this is going to be very interesting for sure. Just happy we are out of that mix now.
