Richardson is a true dual threat quarterback. That has been tough for this Tennessee defense. But, Utah had problems schematicly on defense and had poor fundamentals. We tackled well this week. I still think we have a better offense than Utah as well.

That's no reason to go 11-23 on passing against anybody much less the worst team in division 1 football. We are not good enough to not execute because we can. No college team is. He/they just didn't execute. That's bad and he is our quarterback, for the moment. Let's see what happens next week.

This. I said the very same thing in another thread. If you can't develop talent then recruiting is irrelevant. Elite teams do both. Huepel recruited only 1 4* in 3 years at UCF but his teams would have beaten every team that Pruitt put on the field in the same 3 years at Tennessee.

If you can't develop then recruiting doesn't matter. See Butch Jones. If you want to be elite then you have to have both. I don't know how high Tennessee can go, but I don't think Huepel ever recruited anyone above a 3 star at UCF and they would have beat Tennessee any year that he was there as...
