RB next year could be like WR this year. Young unproven guys proving to be studs. I personally like both Morris and Baker. I wouldn't mind rolling with them as our key backups after Bishop. We should still get another RB in the portal for depth. But I don't think we need to break the bank...
I'd rather see Alabama or any other SEC team in the playoffs than Notre Dame or another Big 10 team. You guys need to get your heads outta your behinds and realize in this new world of tribalism in the college football we go as the SEC goes. If we want to keep getting the benefit of the doubt...
They hardly lose because they play a weak schedule. Vanderbilt would have gone 11-1 or 12-0 with their schedule. You would think elite athletes would want to face tough competition every week rather than cupcakes for 10 of 12 games.
But they play nobody. Most of the nation only watched them play Texas and Michigan. As a kid do you really only want one or two showcases a year? If you're scared of competition I guess its the ideal spot. But I would personally want to be playing on prime time in the game of the day more...
These southern kids and their obsession with Ohio State is something I'll never get. Their stadium is not as good as the stadiums down south. The weather is worse. And Ohio State generally plays nobody whose a challenge until the playoffs. I just don't get the appeal.
I would pick several...
Honestly this is good. I want them to believe they're gonna win. It'll make it that much sweeter when we bodybag them and spoil the best season in their history with a humiliating final game loss.
No one cares we beat a 3-8 team but our silly fans who think Florida had a hex on us rather than the more logical reason that we have been a terrible program the last 20 years.
That was what 8 years ago? How many 1st round QBs have come after that and played right away? And remember that was a very unique situation. Alex Smith was an MVP candidate in 2016 and led the Chiefs to the playoffs. They didn't need a QB. Usually teams picking QBs high in the draft need...
Are you reading comprehension challenged? I said where's their 2026 5-star QB recruit. I know they have Sayin and St. Clair on the roster. My point was the days of signing a 5-star QB every year are over. At best you get one every other year.
The reason Ohio State has back to back 5-stars...
Alex Smith was an MVP candidate the year earlier and led them to the playoffs. That's a unique scenario. Most 1st round QBs get drafted to teams that don't have competent starters. Its why they almost always get on the field early nowadays. The era of the 1st round QB sitting his entire...
Defensive players and receivers are completely different than Quarterback. Only one QB can play at a time compared to multiple receivers and defenders. Also other positions sub in and out regularly while the QB plays the entire game.
And no Ohio State isn't gonna recruit a 5-star QB this...
This would be an ideal scenario. If Aguilar falters we have Faizon to fall back on. Also gives us a chance at getting GMac vs Faizon in 2027 to see who starts.
