I really like him too but we already have Ames and Lundblade in the boat and are pushing hard for Juke.....and Massamaba is a wing too, along with Scott and Green coming in...some of these kids made bad decisions and the schools can't wait forever...

Could be....or maybe he jumped the gun, decided he wanted to stay....and maybe he contributes something during next season, once he's past the shoulder surgery...

Why? Likely not going to cost much because of the injury...let him rehab and maybe he gives us minutes when his shoulder is healed....I thought he showed a decent shot, ok ballhandling and ok defense....

I wouldn't totally avoid non 5 star HS players but the landscape is certainly trending toward largely portal rosters....if Evans goes, that leaves Brown from last year's class...just not worth the trouble to recruit these guys if they are going to leave after a year....

Sorry if already discussed but, with a thin roster, I thought we might circle back to Peck or Washington.....but then why would you take another HS guy who is likely to leave before you can develop him?

His comments didn't sound encouraging....didn't seem to leave the door open....but youneverknow anymore....

Lance Leipold at Buffalo, Heupel at UCF and Tennessee. Johnny Dawkins at UCF has been ok, not great…Caldwell has been a disaster for sure. He had no choice with Elander…so, a mixed bag for sure.

Paying Carey anywhere close to what you pay JP would be terrible roster budgeting…You don’t want JP to leave and you pay to keep him. Carey leaving is not a big deal…if he wants more than you’re offering, you let him go…
