At which point a QB controversy begins, further leading the season into a mind boggling spiral downward. We begin to be unable to score on offense, lose to Mizzou, then lay a stink bomb against Vanderbilt, losing for the first time in 20, excuse me, 7 years. Go Vols!

Y'all are dumb if you hope for any of the three to leave early. Bray and Hunter hadn't gotten this big game experience yet. Bray came on after the gauntlet his first year and both were hurt through it last year. They're learning how to play big games right now, a year later than they should...

Dana Holgerson has Geno Smith in a league that doesn't play defense. He hasn't done anything to prove that he's a good coach, simply shown that he has a really good player. Why not go ahead and hire Chizik if we want to go this route?

Dooley needs a win. Just needs to prove he can beat someone. If he does, guys like Lawson and Bell will get on board. They obviously like what we're selling, we just need to show that we can do what we sell.

It's true, but it was really touch and go there for a while. We ended up losing 2 great LB recruits, allowed a few to walk (Henderson and Cross), and only closed with one big name in CP. Bonner was a guy we landed solely because he was a trouble child that no one else would take. Not to mention...

I know it's not popular, but it actually is true. Dooley's job this year didn't hinge on beating UGA, USCe, or Bama. It hinged on NCState, Florida, MSState, and Mizzou. He's won one and lost one. He needs to show that he can be good teams to give any hope that he can eventually beat a great team.

At least four of those titles are accurate.

I like that he doesn't acknowledge that our QB is easily a top 3 QB in the nation and is being mentioned on every Heisman talk so far. Oops

Hopefully he understands that it's better for him in the long run to get in shape and learn the system before he's thrust out there to get his butt handed to him. Sounds like he does.

I realize that recruiting is about more than the results of the game, but after our game last week, I have a hard time seeing this kid end up here. Apparently most people think he'll stay in state, and our performance on the field, the booing, and the general sentiment around the team last...

not anymore. with the hope scholarship, UT's standards have gone way up. The average ACT before the hope was a 24.7 and now it's up to a 27. The average GPA's gone up like .3 points as well. That's a big spike over 4 years. People with 18-19's are only getting in if they have disabilities...
