Mizzou had a lot of talent last year. What did our stadium, tradition, money have to do with that game? We got our asses kicked. Nothing went right that day. That's the story. Nothing more.
Right, but not all NFL players are from the "big schools"... Also, I'm sure these bammers aren't cheap. I honestly don't fully understand NIL & I doubt anybody does. Part of managing an NFL roster is managing money. Sure you can hit it big for a year, to wit the LA Rams recently & the Eagles in...
I'm going to guess numbers, and being honorable with those that picked UT before they knew Saban was retiring. I think that is the right thing to do. JMO 🤷
They University is NOT paying NIL. I think there is confusion on this topic. The University is keeping all revenue generated and distributing as always as far as I know. Am I wrong?
I like transfer portal & NIL so far. I am not opposed to tweaking things. Maybe "salary" caps? The university isn't paying NIL are they? It is all a bit confusing. I have faith it will work itself out.
The NFL & College ball are neither free market... Both are "socialism" LMAO!!! Public facilities (means of production), shared revenue, redistribution of earnings. I also find it funny that the traditionalists (most likely conservatives) are clamoring for oversight & regulation. Hilarious!
NFL/AFL players made $10 -15k in the 50s-60s. Terry Bradshaw sold insurance in the off-season to make ends meet. The entire system has evolved. That's what things do over time. They evolve & change. I don't get all the belly aching.
I don't understand what what the big deal is? We lose some players. We gain some players. Everybody can legally pay players. It seems like a better system. What am I missing?
That's not a two deep... That's one deep lol. They have 8 scholarship DBs not counting Jeudy-Lally & McCullough. Obviously, they must not feel comfortable with all of them if Brooks has been playing. I would bet they will play 6-8 DBs on Monday including those listed in your one deep
8 not counting McCullough or Judy-Lally. I'd say 12 is about all you can carry with roster number limits. 10 scholarship DBs is plenty for this game lol. They are inexperienced though. It'll be fun to see how they do.
