    If that is all your looking for then yea I would go ROTC then. Positive thing about ROTC while your going through that program I am pretty sure you can go to the drill weekends with the unit you are assigned to which will help you get to know the guys before you come out of ROTC with your commision.

    Hey VolFreak, I am pretty sure that going through the ROTC you do not have to go through basic. I am a Spec in the TN Guard and having a deployment to Iraq under my belt it is just my advice but I would go the OCS route. Being in charge of a platoon after going through the OCS from my experience...
