They actually planned to play him at tackle because of his size and athleticism. I believe they are still trying to figure out where his future is, so he was working at center, but could still be a tackle primarily.
Where did you hear this about Griffin? I believe he is a safety all thy way. The staff loves his length. Gaulden will be fine--he wasn't an early enrollee. You will see a difference next year in his frame I bet.
Agreed (minus your NBA jab, lol). I don't care how many people are at the game. I will tune in to most bowl games, at least for a little while, because I love college football.
I get what you're saying. But take a look at the photo. what I see is two guys covering Josh Smith, which either indicates they feel the need to double him, or one of them is a least giving the impression of blitzing. Since it was unlikely OU was going to double Smith, it was a least likely...
It is the QB's fault when he misses the pre-snap read. The correct read results in a big gain/TD rather than a turnover. These are the things that many of us "lay-fans" do not see until it is broken down for us.
Because Verne and Gary are awful. Constantly saying the wrong player names. "I don't know they, may be short" when the player is short by 5 yards. I could go on, but it will just make me angry for two weeks haha
