Just did a little research. Coach McClain was on staff at Georgia for McDowell's freshman year there. Could definitely be a connection there. May have been the coach who recruited him to UGA. Not a betting man, but that's where I would put my money.

Does anyone have a link to or copy of Tennessee's active roster for the College World Series? I would have thought Matthew Dallas was on the active roster, but I'm assuming he isn't since he just entered the transfer portal.

Louisville was a complete dumpster fire last year, and Michigan wasn't far behind last year. Neither program sniffed the NCAA tournament last season, so neither are great programs right now. My guess is both Kelsey (Louisville) and May (Michigan) will change that soon, but last year neither...

You can't have 13 guys on scholarship that expect minutes, so you need a couple of guys on the back end of the roster who are projects/developmental guys. If you hit on them in 1-2 years great, if they don't develop to the level you need, then they will hit the portal and get recruited over. I...
