Does this sound like he was confused?
"I have been talking with Coach [Dan] Mullen, Coach O [Otis Yelverton], and I have a really good relationship with their wide receiver coach Billy Gonzales," Henderson said of the Gators.
"Gonzales is a big reason Henderson picked Florida.
“'He said he...
Guys, don't freak out about decommits. You're going to have a bunch of them. It's just what happens during a transition. It's the unknown quantity factor combined with the lack of relationship with members of the new staff that will drive it. It's an inevitable result of a coaching change during...
Serious question: Have you guys thought about Charlie Strong? Just curious. Surprised I haven't seen or heard his name mentioned much. I'm not saying he'd be the best choice for you--not a flashy hire--but he'd probably be better than a coordinator with no HC experience. He seems to have...
If you do a Twitter search for "Doeren" and scroll latest tweets, there are a number of people saying it. It's buzz right now, not any "report." One was a TN HS football coach, one was a Penn State blog, one was a person saying an insider TN board was talking about it.
I have seen it happen with LOIs more than once. And I'm not sure what you mean by "comprehensive." There is no requirement that an agreement be "comprehensive" in order to be binding. It merely requires that it address essential elements. Those could be relatively minimal. They would all likely...
It doesn't matter what the document was called, it matters what the document says. Relying on the definition of "Memorandum of Understanding" tells you nothing, because that describes a type of document normally called that. But if the "memorandum" itself contains the essential elements of a...
Serious question-- what would be enough for you all to want to keep Jones? Let's say he wins 8-10 games a year, loses to Florida two out of three times or more on average, wins the SEC once every six or seven years--basically mirrors what Richt has done at Georgia-- would that be enough for you...
Guys, do you have any idea what the offensive line situation McElwain inherited was like? He was looking at having to troll freshman orientation just to find bodies.
How bad was it? Due to injuries and attrition and poor strategic recruiting prior to his arrival, he literally didn't have...
I can't believe if money was an issue that you let Cincy get Tubberville for next to nothing. I'd be worried if he were your HC. He may not be the kind who wins a NC, but he would have you in the thick of things every year with your typical roster. He knows how to compete in the SEC.
Sincere question-- if money was an issue, why didn't you guys hire Tommy Tubberville? He is definitely not a guy I'd want Florida to face every year. Cincy picked him up cheap. Not flashy, but he knows how to coach an SEC team.
