I can post threads so Im hoping someone will answer this question here....but I have not heard a peep about Derrrel Scott since recruiting day and i dont' see him anywhere on the roster. What's his status?

Prettty bad hire but I don't think we had many options. We got turned down by La. Tech's coach for crying out loud.

We should not consider him. A 61 year old from Belmont would not be able to recruit here.

At this point we would be lucky to get him. The bottom of the barrel is approaching.

I think a 61 year old starting at a new (SEC) school would have a hard time recruiting when 90% of potential recruits are going to ask "What and where is Belmont?"

Isn't the Belmont coach like 85 years old?

We got turned down by a coach from La. Tech. That's a huge statement about how others see UT and basketball. When does football start?

"In order for the University of Tennessee, the fan base, to get what they need and what they're looking for..." In other words, the petition was a factor, and I can't blame him for leaving. Why would you stay at a school and in a town where the majority do not want you around?

Hart could not fire a guy who took us to the sweet 16 so he could replace him with a guy who put us on probation. He's smarter than that.
