Ford could’ve been drafted in the 2nd. But he has a ton of leverage, so he was asking for 1st round money. He basically told teams, don’t draft me if you’re not willing to meet the money I’m asking for. Him being undrafted and Bargo being undrafted are not even close to the same thing.

1. Eye test. 2. HS 30/60/90 times. His is by far the slowest out of anyone else in the lineup. Again, this is not me bashing him. Cal Raleigh is slow as Christmas and no one cares. I don’t care if he’s fast or not. I think he could be the perfect DH for us next year.

When it comes to versatility, I’d say Jay, Brown, Newstrom and Wright are all more versatile than Bargo. Im fine if he battles it out at DH, but the lack of athleticism out of him really hurts us.

You are only able to gain a compensatory pick if a player you drafted in the top 10 rounds doesn’t sign. These teams wouldn’t qualify for one.
