I agree but I think the leader candidates are over on the bench and it’s hard to develop leadership skills from the dugout. Most great leaders are oozing confidence and you don’t get that with pinch running or coming in the game just last inning.

Defense was sus at times last year but this year is noticeably worse. Defense may not win championships but a decent one sure could help at this point.

Touché, and neither is our defense. It’s comparable to going to watch middle school to high school age defense.

Home runs happen it’s baseball, we had some our way last night. Can not excuse the defensive errors.

I know offense is the key to modern day baseball, but have we completely abandoned defense? Wonder how much emphasis is put on defense in practice.

Don’t have to see it in person to see that something is off with this team. We a a team full of great players but that does not always translate to a great team.
