Most of y'all forget Iowa was at the highest 10th in the NCAA. They played like it at times tonight. We just beat a BIG 10 team. Kudos to them boys in orange faced adversity come back and won. That's huge for motivation. Hopefully CCM can use this as a building point and get us to Sunday against DUKE. Lehgo BasketVols.

Didn't think it was going to be a easy win as this was a toss up so not surprising this went to Ot.

you are confusing me with someone else. i have said very little about the officiating - i think i made two comments about them.

one that the Vols could not complain about the officiating tonight and that the Vols were getting a good whistle which they did.

And not mad we won. I decided a few games ago not to get emotionally invested in Volunteer basketball anymore - too many disappointments over the last three years. and before you go trying to take my fan card i am and have been a season basketball ticket holder for 10 years and have attended 90% of CCM's home games......

Don't have to watch. Knew Iowa would win as soon as Pearl to AU was announced. It's too perfect a recipe for the sort of unmitigated self loathing that has defined the program for years. Hart will have to give Cuonzo at least a 1 year extension so he can recruit and UTAD will be paying yet another coach a couple of million not to coach a year from now.

F the haters that's disappointed we won. Pearl is packing his bags to move to the state of Alabama while Martin and co. Are going to the state of North Carolina to play in this little thing called the NCAA tournament!

It's funny because people at the beginning of the game were saying this was one of our worst game, but if you look at our stat-line after the game, it looked like our most complete game of the season. We had 4 starters step up and contribute huge. That has happened like one other time this season. 20 for McCrae, 18 and double double for stokes, 17 for richardson. We've never had all those guys score above 17 this season. Maymon with 9 and some big free throws which is rare for him, and Barton with 10 after a sloppy start. 78 points and a 13 point win. This is the Tennessee team we've been waiting for. Looked very complete down the stretch. No one wants to see this team in their bracket. Lets go VOLS!.

LOL it's been so long since we've actually WON a game in the post-season all of our fans have forgotten how to celebrate it! Here's a refresher for all you old crabbies on here:
Step 1: relax and enjoy the feeling.. don't take the moment for granted
Step 2: smile! we WON! afterall, tonight, it's great to be a Tennessee Vol!
Step 3: instead of arguing and debating about coaching, referees, etc we should be "BOOM"-ing
Step 4: Wear your orange proudly tomorrow wherever you go and show it off
Step 5: High-five others participating in steps 1-4

These don't necessarily need to be done in order, but Step 5 might not make much sense unless you've at least reviewed Steps 1-4

Now that we've all been reminded how we're supposed to act after a win... can we just ENJOY THE MOMENT?

John Gruden is such a talent in coaching if he transitioned to basketball and was our coach he would have won by 50 by simply giving the Chucky smirk to the other bench. Why doesn't Hart get it and hire Gruden to coach both football and basketball?

Good on you man. I was doing all I could too calm Vol Nation as the first half was unravelling. Glad the vols ended the way they did. A Vols win hasn't felt this sweet in a very very long time. This feels good.
