As fast as Auburn moved on this I definitely think they wanted this done before Tennessee's season was over. By any standards having a replacement hired six days after firing your coach is moving with a sense of urgency. Nice move by Auburn though.

We just became the 4th best program in the SEC. He's going to recruit Atlanta very well from Auburn. They have great facilities. Yay.

auburn wasn't worried about tennessee. tennessee isn't firing its coach.

auburn was worried about the schools who are looking for a coach.

It will take longer to build his program at Auburn. But he's won everywhere he has coached. Stands to reason he will win at Auburn, too. If he didn't return to Tennessee, I was really hoping he would wind up coaching away from the SEC.

The curse continues because our Athletic dept. obviously enjoys losing. No offense but until butch actually wins we still have a losing football program, and judging by cuonzos 3 year history here we are poised for another lack luster tourney performance. First time in NCAA for him and I bet we fold first game. Don't worry next years roster looks like a final four lock...
